Guillén is a Mexican-American writer and a United States Air Force veteran. She earned an Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Psychology. Guillén is currently pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing and is based in the North Bay of California.
